WORK EXPERIENCE

Kohler Communications

January 2010 – February 2015

Graphic Designer at Kohler Communications, working for their Interiors Division, which
includes McGuire Furniture, Baker Furniture, Kallista, Ann Sacks and Mark David. Along
with the Art Director, I was responsible for all design projects, both print and digital that
come through our department for those brands. I successfully managed a very heavy
workload independently with minimal need for direction. 

Art Institute of Chicago

September – December 2009

Intern with the Department of Graphic Design and Communications at the Art Institute
of Chicago. Assisted with creating material such as posters, brochures and flyers for the
museum’s educational programs. I also worked on the design and production of labels
for the museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. 

Kohl's Corporation

January – June 2009

Graphic Designer in the Fashion & Home division of the Marketing Department
at Kohl’s corporate headquarters. Worked with senior art directors and designers
to develop marketing and advertising materials.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

•  Full product line offset printed catalogs for McGuire, Kallista and Baker Furniture. 

•  Printed marketing collateral including brochures, posters, event invites, sell sheets,
   dealer co-op ads and trade show take-away pieces.

•  Art direction for Kallista photo shoots.     

•  Magazine ads for print publications including Boutique Design, Interiors, Interior Design,
   Hospitality Design, Hotel Business Design and San Francisco Cottages & Gardens. 

•  Digital ads placements for publications including Architectural Digest, Design Wire,
  House Beautiful and San Francisco Magazine.

•  Email marketing design for McGuire, Mark David, Kallista and Ann Sacks.

•  Trade show and showroom graphics.

•  Book cover design and content layout.
